Former Aurora DARE Officer Pleads Guilty to Sex Offense

The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the Aurora Police Department announce that a former Aurora DARE Officer pleads guilty to a sex offense against an adolescent girl.
Michael Mangino (DOB: 03/28/1961) pled guilty to Sexual Exploitation of a Child (F6). Mangino was charged in March 2011 while he was an officer with the Aurora Police Department.
Mangino will be sentenced on July 5, 2012 at 8:30 AM in Adams County District Court, Division E.
