Landing Place Church "Micah Project" Helps Denver Rescue Mission Children

May 11, 2013, Denver. Reunion's "Landing Place Church" offered help and hope to Denver Rescue Mission children this Mothers Day. One of the churches' small groups designated its "Micah Project" toward helping the Denver Rescue Mission children celebrate their mothers. With a full sheet cake, party favors, and arts and crafts supplies, about a dozen Landing Place Church members helped children create and decorate crosses, design Mothers Day cards, and craft tissue paper 'flowers'. The group is looking for donations and more involvement in what is a 'very rewarding experience'.
