ADVISORY: Senator Jessie Ulibarri and Senator Mary Hodge to co-host Thornton town hall meeting on fracking
Thornton – Senator Jessie Ulibarri will co-host his town hall meeting with Senator Mary Hodge and Representative Joe Salazar, this Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Anthony's II Pizza (3901 E. 112th Avenue, Thornton, CO 80233). Senator Ulibarri, with Senator Hodge and Representative Salazar, will focus this town hall on fracking. Senator Ulibarri hosts weekly town hall meetings around his district, from Commerce City to Westminster. All of his town hall meetings are free, nonpartisan, and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share input.

Dear Friends, With the legislative session at the half-way point, many significant issues have been discussed. Some top issues include, gun-control, licensing for medical practitioners, and continuing the mission to increase access in educational opportunities for the students of Colorado. The Colorado House has received a number of emails relating to gun-control. The debate on these bills was extensive and I gave my best arguments on why there should not be any laws relating to gun-regulation. The final votes of the bills were very close, with some Democrats even voting against some of the bills. I promise that I have listened to the constituency's concerns and voted according to principle. When I took my Oath of Office, I swore to uphold the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
