Volunteers needed to help maintain Westminster open spaces

Westminster is fortunate to have almost 3,000 acres of open space. These natural areas provide wildlife habitat, beautiful views, miles of trails and recreational opportunities. These areas look like they take care of themselves, but actually need helping hands to keep them vital and healthy. If you enjoy the outdoors and would like a flexible volunteer opportunity, join the open space and forestry volunteers. Projects vary and are held on selected Saturday mornings. No experience is necessary - just an appreciation of nature. Contact Patti Wright at 303-658-2201 or pwright@cityofwestminster.us to find out how you can make a difference preserving our natural resources for today and the future.
