Based on continued drought conditions, the City of Brighton has declared a phase 3 drought warning. Brighton residents can get rid of any unused or leftover chemical products in their home on Sept. 29 at the 2012 Adams County Chemical Roundup. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Thornton IMC Facility, located at 12450 Washington St.. Products such as cleaners, paints, thinners and pesticides can be a potential danger to you, your family, and the environment.
