Family Safety & Preparedness Workshops Offered in Brighton

Is your family prepared for an emergency that can last hours, days or even weeks? The Brighton Office of Emergency Management is partnering with the American Red Cross to bring parents, children & families together to learn emergency planning and disaster preparedness skills through a series of workshops this summer. All workshops are family-friendly and include activities, demonstrations and take home materials and are geared to specific emergencies we can face here in Colorado.

 

 The cost is $3/family for each workshop.  Workshops will be held at the Brighton Recreation Center, located at 555 N. 11th Ave. Courses available include:

 

Thursday, May 30            6:30-8 p.m.                    Family Emergency Preparedness

Thursday, June 27            6:30-8 p.m.                    Outdoor & Severe Weather Preparedness

Thursday, July 25             6:30-8 p.m.                   Friends and Family CPR
