96th & Tower Road (next to the stop sign) carries tonight's council agenda about a methane pipleline burial 96th & Tower Road (next to the stop sign) carries tonight's council agenda about a methane pipleline burial

Should Commerce City residents look on the side of roads for public notices concerning city council agendas (like a methane pipeline to potentially be buried in their neighborhood)?

Commerce City residents might consider taking notice of not just public notices -- but where they're posted.   Hotly contested issues -- like the Xcel methane pipeline burial in what might be your neighborhood --

might not make it into your mindframe should the practice of roadside postings continue.  This public notice was ALSO noticeably absent from being posted at "normal" public notice sites like the display case

at the Reunion Rec Center or the Gateway News  (as of 3pm in the afternoon of October 1, 2012, this public notice was not publicly displayed at the Reunion Recreation Center).

The Gateway News was not provided notice of this agenda from either the City of Commerce City or Xcel Energy.
