Denver Man killed in Brighton

Denver Man killed in Brighton

On Thursday, November 22, 2012 at about 6:00 am Brighton police officers were dispatched to a stabbing which had just occurred at Eastgate Mobile Home Park, 3060 East Bridge Street in Brighton. Officers were told two males were chasing a male behind a mobile home and the male being chased was yelling for help.

When officers arrived they located a 22 year old, Hispanic male victim who was shirtless and covered in blood. The victim told officers the name of his attacker prior to losing consciousness. The victim was transported by ambulance to Denver Health Medical Center where he later died. The victim was a resident of Denver. His identity is not being released until family members are notified.
At about 3:45 pm two Hispanic males were taken into custody and are being held on the charge of 1st Degree Murder. One of the males is 18 years of age and the other is 21 years of age. Their identity and pictures are not being released at this time.
