Brighton Police Department Update
Brighton Police Officers have been busy training during the month of October. All police officers have attended 14 hours of Koga Arrest Control, four hours of Emergency Vehicle Operations, one hour of Personal Protective Equipment, five hours of less lethal weapons and five hours of nighttime shooting.
Some officers also obtained certifications in RADAR traffic enforcement
(8 hrs), drug identification and testing (4 hrs) and the use of the Intoxilyzer
5000EN (8 hrs) which is used for DUI enforcement.
