Police seek community assistance in vandalism cases
Brighton police are asking for the assistance of the community in identifying the person or persons responsible for a string of incidents of vandalism to parked cars which occurred between about midnight and 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
Officers have taken 32 reports of vandalism believed to be related to the
overnight spree, most involving car windows smashed by rocks or pumpkins.
Several victims reported hearing loud banging noises outside their residences
between 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., and others described seeing either a darkcolored
4-door truck or SUV, or a large, older-model white sedan, similar to a
Cadillac or Lincoln, leaving areas where damage was reported.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Brighton
Police Department tip-line at (303) 655-8740.
