Brighton Police Department update -- For week ending 09/14/12
On Wednesday, September 12, the police department held its annual department inspection. Chief Blackhurst began the annual inspection in 1997. All members of the department prepare for the inspection by making sure their equipment is cared for and in excellent working condition.
Beginning Monday, September 17, Officers Stanek, Stricklin and Sandoval will
be attending a two-week DARE training program. During the training they will
learn how to write lesson plans, teach children and practice their public speaking
skills. Officer Stricklin is currently assigned to Overland Trail Middle School
and Officer Sandoval is assigned to Prairie View Middle School. Officer Stanek
is assigned to patrol.
