Public Assistance Requested: Brighton police investigating possible hit-and-run

Brighton police are investigating the roadside death of a local man as a possible hit-and-run accident.

A passerby called 9-1-1 just before midnight on Saturday, August 25th, 2012, after finding 19-year-old Shane Michael Hale injured and unconscious in a roadside ditch near 120th Ave. and Peoria St., in Brighton. Hale was airlifted to an area hospital, where he later died.
Police are asking that anyone who might have information about the incident call Detective Corporal Dennis McGee at (720) 685-7318.
