Winter watering recommendations for trees

Residents are urged to regularly water trees until early April to insure the survival of these plants! Wherever the tree is planted, in a lawn area, planter bed or mulched area, apply water at a rate of 8-10 gallons per 1” of trunk diameter, once a month from October through April.

— The South Westminster Arts Group annual Holiday Market returns to the Historic Westminster Arts District through Sunday, Dec. 23.
