Brighton City Hall to host reception for Eye for Art program artists
The City of Brighton Eye for Art program will host a “meet the artists” reception for the Celebrating Mother eARTh 2013 art show currently on display at Brighton City Hall. The reception will held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 2, 2013 at City Hall, located at 500 S. 4th Ave.
RTD offering RockiesRide bus service for all weekend 2013 Rockies home games, Opening Day, Yankees series, and annual fireworks games Light Rail services also available for all home games
Denver – The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will offer RockiesRide service to all weekend games and the following weekday games in the 2013 baseball season: April 5, (Opening Day), May 7-9, (Yankees series), and fireworks games on July 3, July 4, and Sept. 20. RockiesRide is RTD’s direct bus service to and from Coors Field from 11 Park-n-Ride locations in the metro area and Boulder High School. RockiesRide buses depart from the designated locations up to two hours prior to the game and drops off passengers right outside of Coors Field at 22nd/Blake 30-60 minutes before the first pitch. Every RockiesRide bus is easily identified with the letter “R” and the route number (e.g. 5R) on the destination sign on the front. ...Rabies Confirmed in Brighton Skunk
Tri-County Health Department has confirmed that a skunk collected on a private property in Brighton was infected with rabies. The property is in northern Adams County, just south of Weld County. An astute veterinarian, Dr. Evan Dowdy of Horizon Veterinary Clinic, recognized that the skunk could have rabies and collected it for testing.
