Special guests gather to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Denver’s most visited destination

 

 WHAT:          As a tribute to the 30th Anniversary of the 16th Street Mall, the Downtown Denver Partnership, the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District, the Regional Transportation District and the City and County of Denver are hosting a very special ceremony.

 

 

 

Join Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock as he presents a proclamation that recognizes this significant milestone. You will also hear prepared remarks from US Senator Mark Udall, and RTD and Downtown Denver Partnership leadership about this important milestone in Denver’s history.

 

 

 

 

 

WHEN:          Tuesday, October 9, 2012

 

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

 

*Ceremony begins promptly at 11:45am

 

 

 

WHERE:         Skyline Park, 16th Street and Arapahoe Street, across the street from the historic Daniels and Fisher Clocktower by the information booth
