Change Your Clocks and Batteries in Your CO Dectectors and Fire Alarms Nov. 4

The Thornton Fire Department would like to remind you to make a life-saving change in your household. On Sunday, November 4 when you change your clocks, you need to also change and test the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors and remind your friends, family and neighbors to do the same. Making sure your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are in working order takes just a moment, but it’s the best defense your family has against the devastating effects of a home fire.
