Follow students, faculty, families and friends of Foundations Academy as they walk to raise money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) to help those living with Type 1 Diabetes look forward to longer, healthier lives. SCFD Board Certifies 25 Organizations in Tier II for Fiscal Year 2012

August 28, 2012 - At their regular meeting on Thursday, August 23, the Board of Directors of the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District approved a resolution identifying those organizations qualifying for 2012 Tier II funding and each organization's award. These are regional organizations that have met statutory eligibility criteria and demonstrated annual operating income above the $1,442,930.42 threshold for the prior fiscal year....

Over 350 Community Members Gather to Raise Enough Funds to Train 30 More Advocates for Abused & Neglected Children

Metro North Region, CO – More than 350 individuals turned out in support of the 6th Annual ‘Indulge for CASA’ event benefitting CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Adams and Broomfield Counties. The event, held on the evening of July 19, 2012 at Balistreri Vineyards located in Denver, successfully raised over $45,000, which will allow the non-profit program to train and supervise at least 30 more dedicated volunteers who could potentially ensure the safety and best interests of 75 more abused and neglected children than the program is currently serving. ...
