Season to Share 2011-2012 beneficiaries --- Denver Post Article

As part of a program developed by members of the Arvada Sunrise Rotary and the Food Bank of the Rockies, Columbian Elementary School students left received a small sack of groceries intended for use at home over the weekend. Last year a record $2.820 million was distributed to 65 Denver-area nonprofit agencies through Season To Share, a campaign of Denver Post Charities, a McCormick Foundation Fund. The organizations supported help move people out of poverty by providing meals for those who are hungry; shelter for those who are homeless; health care for uninsured and underinsured patients; education programs for disadvantaged children; and literacy services for low-income adults.
