STUDENTS WALK TO RAISE FUNDS FOR JDRF
Follow students, faculty, families and friends of Foundations Academy as they walk to raise money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) to help those living with Type 1 Diabetes look forward to longer, healthier lives. The Walk to Cure Diabetes is the largest national fundraising event to help JDRF fund research toward a cure, treatment and prevention of this life-altering disease. Kindergarten through second grade students will walk about a mile; third grade through seventh grade will walk about two miles.
Foundations Academy participated in this event two years ago and raised $18,000. The goal this year is to increase participation as well as the amount of money raised.
